The systematic archaeological research of the ancient Cretan city of Dreros is the result of the collaboration between the Ephorate of Antiquities of Lassithi and the French School of Athens. During the past few years, it has brought to light many architectural remains in various places of the city among which the ones belonging to an architectural complex dated to the Hellenistic period. A squared central room with a hearth on its centre was unearthed, framed on every side by two elongated rooms -being identified by their finds as storerooms- and a small vestibule on the east. The original structure underwent various operations and additions over time. The results of the excavation and its finds will be briefly examined on this article.
